- Account details: name, email, phone, role (tenant, landlord).
- Listing details submitted by landlords, including photos and location.
- Verification documents (ID, selfie, proof of ownership) where you choose to verify.
- Usage data: pages viewed, saved rooms, enquiries sent.
How we use it
- To operate the marketplace and connect tenants with landlords.
- To verify identities and reduce fraud.
- To provide bookings for cleaning, gardening and maintenance.
- To communicate about your account, listings or enquiries.
Sharing
We never sell your personal information. We share data only when necessary to provide the service (for example, sharing your phone number with a landlord you contact) or when required by law.
Security
Data is stored on managed cloud infrastructure with encryption in transit and at rest. Access is limited to authorised staff.
Your rights
- Access or correct your personal information from your account.
- Request deletion of your account and data, subject to legal obligations.
- Lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa.
